Phonics Soundwall
Read with Phonics digital and printable resources are designed to fit around you and your style of teaching. Teachers do not want to be told how to teach and what to teach and we deliberately design our resources to be flexible enough to fit around you, the teacher. The soundwall is designed to do just that and has multiple uses. The soundwall works by simply displaying all the sounds for each stage that when touched, the sound is spoken. It is as simple as that.
I often use the soundwall during my phonics lesson introductions when recapping an old sound. The soundwall also works really well as a revision aid, and is ideal to have up on the smartboard during lessons so that students can independently check if they have correctly spelt the sound they are looking for. I also like to use the soundwall at the end of the day or to fill 10 minutes before a break time where I will ask students to come up and correctly identify the sound I said. They love that the sound will be spoken back to them so they instantly know if they got the answer right or wrong!
